Podcast #2: Perfectionism & Building Courage not Confidence

Podcast #2: Perfectionism & Building Courage not Confidence

Today’s podcast is all about “perfectionism” and how we gotta get out of this “perfectionist mindset” that is essentially ruining our progress and overall well-being. And rather than trying to be a confident person, we need to first master how to be a courageous person and a pursuer of excellence rather than a pursuer of perfection.

I’ve always said that thanks to the wonderful world of advertising and social media, we are constantly bombarded with these “perfect” images of impossible “perfection.” And let’s face it, staring at these gorgeous photo-shopped Instagram models makes it really frigging hard to appreciate our own satisfactory bodies.

But at the end of the day, always looking down other peoples’ paths thinking “I wish I was like her,” only means we fail to move along our own path. And since this is the reality we’re born into and the body and mind we’ve been given, we might as well enjoy them. And listen to my podcast instead. 😉

AHAHAHAHAH KATE!! I just had to google both those references but you sooooo called it!! I will take the younger, thinner, beautiful, happy sister comparison ;) Anyway, never to late to give us some podcast love. So thanks! And I will try to get it onto Spotify. I will tell Sarah to get on it. Thanks for the support!

Hey, I know it’s about 2.5 years late but I love this podcast! And your sister has the best voice, you two remind me of Daria and Quinn Morgandorpher, or your sister a bit like the Arts reporter from QWERPLine (it is on YouTube and hilarious!). I am definitely the older sister in this situation.

    Anyway,

Thank you so much for this. Do you have plans to upload to Spotify at all?
